51beats “an electronic experience” is an independent electronic music label having the mission to promote high quality, non-commercial, innovative, and emotional sounds without distinctions among genres. The label supports all the different flavours of electronic music, ranging from ambient to techno passing through electrofunk, electroacustic, minimal and idm, all published with Creative Commons licences. Born as a netlabel in 2008, 51beats published since then more than 30 high quality electronic music net-releases, all available for the free download with CC licences. The label has been internationally recognized thank to the nominations obtained at the QWARTZ 'Electronic and New Music Awards' Editions 6 (discovery category), 7 (dancelfoor and compilation categories), and 8 (dancefloor category), where 51beats and its artists competed with labels like Raster Noton, Shitkatapult, and Kompakt among others, and with worldwide-recognized artists such as Boiz Noize, Tim Raumschmiere, Erol Alkan,... Today, 51beats starts its adventure in the physical-world by releasing special CDs editions and (soon) dancefloor-oriented vinyls for the crowd :). To promote artists which are far from standard commercial channels is a 51beats major objective, and our 'electronic experience' currently comprehends events organization and booking managment for some of the label artists.
51beats “an electronic experience” è una label indipendente di musica elettronica che ha come obiettivo la proposta di suoni non-commericali, innovativi ed emozionali. 51beats nasce come netlabel nel 2008 e da allora pubblica più di 30 opere musicali di elettronica di qualità, tutte rilasciate mediante licenze Creative Commons. La label supporta i più differenti generi musicali, dalla ambient alla techno, passando attraverso sonorità electrofunk, elettroacustiche, minimali ed idm. La label viene riconosciuta a livello internazionale grazie a diverse nominations ottenute ai QWARTZ 'Electronic and New Music Awards' Editions 6 (discovery category), 7 (dancelfoor and compilation categories), and 8 (dancefloor category), dove 51beats ed i suoi artisti si sono confrontati con labels del calibro di Raster Noton, Shitkatapult e Kompakt, e con artisti 'mondiali' quali Boiz Noize, Tim Raumschmiere ed Erol Alkan. Ad oggi, 51beats inizia la sua avventura nel 'mondo fisico' con la pubblicazione di CD special editions e, molto presto, di 12" da puro club. La promozione di nuovi artisti lontani dai tradizionali canali commerciali è, e sarà sempre, un obiettivo principale per 51beats.

You can download and use our music in any way you wish (copy, distribute freely, transmit) but you must attribute the work to the respective author, respect the licence, and remember to acknowledge the source (51beats label, www.51beats.net). The music released on 51beats is subject of the respective artist, and any use of the sounds/songs for commercial purposes is not allowed without an explicit permission.
DEMO POLICY - We only accept demo for eventual net-releases. SUBMIT your music to submit[@]51beats[dot]net. Alternatively send us a link to your files. Usually we try to listen and give comments to all the music we receive. If you do not receive any answer in few weeks, this simply means we do not like your music too much, which of course doesn't mean you're not good...
