CANI GIGANTI play live with analogue synthesizers, samplers and effects with the aim of radically change our clubbing and dancelfoor experiences. The structures of the analogical sequencers are prepared in the studio but this is followed by their sometimes radical and dynamical (r)evolution during live performances, where the mathematics of the machines meets emotions and improvisation for establishing strong magnetic interactions between the stage and the dancefloor. Continuous evolutions of techno rhythms and resonating analogical sounds alternate with hypnotic melodies sometimes touching trance-like sounds. Following the success of the first work by the CANI GIGANTI: “Concerto 001” (entirely recorded live, July 2011, 51beats), where the crazy track “Campane” has been nominated at the QWARTZ ELECTRONIC AND MUSIC AWARDS 7 in the Best Dancefloor Track cateogory, 51beats now publish the album of their artistic maturity. “Brain Confusion” is built on the basis of a hard studio-work following the constant feedbacks acquired during the numerous live exhibitions of CANI GIGANTI in the last couple of years. The album is characterized by bossy sounds and complex drums patterns like in “Adriana” and it contains hypnotic techno gems like “1997 Run Away“. The power of “Brain Confusion” and its remix signed by Marcio McFly and Robidat suggests what will be the impact of this work on the new club-scene. Planned within 2012 a 12″ that will further inject pure energy into the dj’s bags all around the world.
